I give all glory to our Lord Jesus Christ whom we serve. This testimony is about how my Lord Jesus helped me to overcome a situation regarding my job.
I got a call from my Head Office HR last week saying there was some restructuring happening in the company where I would have to leave as they were downsizing our Bahrain Branch. A new country manager would be appointed and the existing country manager would take my position. At a later stage I was told that they might retain me if I was ready to accept a cut in my salary. There are not many other reputed firms in this line of trade. I knew the market condition and there was not much recruitment opportunities. As usual, I was surrounded with queries, like, what would I do if I lost my job? Yet in spite of all these circumstances what was prevailing within me was God's peace. I was still holding on to my faith. For I knew the thought of my Lord Jesus concerning me was of peace, and not of evil, to give me a future and hope.
Finally after 3 days I get a call from my Regional Head saying that my existing Country Manager has decided to move out of Bahrain and hence I will be retained with the same salary. Should I be surprised how this happened? No, not at all, because this is the doing of our God and it is marvellous to behold. He is there to protect His children and will never leave nor forsake in any situation… I am so thankful to Almighty God for He alone is my strength and he is faithful to his children. Blessed be the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
